It's been a busy spring, so I am just getting to post this amazing session I did with Amanda & Chris to celebrate the upcoming birth of their first child. I am so thankful to Chris & Amanda for allowing me to capture this special time in their lives. And, I am happy to announce, they have since given birth to a healthy baby girl! Congrats Chris & Amanda!
This winter has been brutal, well for everyone here in the northeast at least! So when I heard there was an orchid exhibit at Longwood Gardens, I jumped at the opportunity to spend some time walking amongst the flowers like spring has actually arrived (even though it's still in the 40s here)!
If you've never been to Longwood Gardens, I highly recommend it for any age. It's beautiful at all times of the year, but especially in the spring and summer. Here are some of my favorite shots from the day, both orchids and other flowers I found interesting.
I've been blessed to be an aunt to eight nieces and nephews, six boys and two girls (twins). They range in age from 19 months to 22 years old and I love spending time with each and every one of them. They are all such smart, funny and caring kids. My siblings have done an amazing job raising them.
I recently got to spend the entire day with the youngest, little Kelly, as my sister had to work and needed a babysitter. I just love this sweet baby boy. We spent the whole day hanging out, giggling and cuddling, just the two of us and Juno, the dog. And of course, I brought my camera with me.
Here are a few of my favorite shots of this adorable little guy, and a couple of Juno too! Enjoy!
When my friend Jenna found out she was pregnant, she asked me if I could take newborn portraits once the baby arrived. I was nervous, since I'd never done a newborn shoot before, but I had 9 months to prepare after all, so of course I agreed! And I do really just love babies!!
Baby Bobenich arrived on January 9th, 2015 and we made plans to do the shoot a week later. After reading everything I could find (books, blogs, articles..) on newborn shoots and watching countless youtube videos, I learned that the first 10 days are the best for these types of shoots. That way baby is a little less alert and sleepy.
We set up the shoot in the master bedroom, with layers of towels and blankets on the bed, and a space heater on full blast (note to self, do not wear a sweater next time!) to keep baby nice and toasty. The shoot took longer than any I've done before (I expected this) and was also my favorite! Little Bailey was such a sweet baby and I could have taken her picture for days!
We did a few different set ups and experimented a bit, and of course got a few with big sister Paige! Here are some of my favorites from the shoot. Enjoy!
Christmas has come and gone once again, and despite having bronchitis, it was a pretty good one! My family is Italian American, and Catholic at that, so Christmas Eve is a big deal for us. We do the Feast of the Seven Fishes, though to be honest, I don't think we break 5 anymore! All 17 of us (that is just my immediate family plus my nieces and nephews) gathered at my mother's house this year. I, being sick, forgot my camera, so I had to use my cell phone to capture some memories.
Christmas day was spent with my husband's family, at his mother's farmhouse in the country. This year we did a Pollyanna, which worked out really well. I got a new polarizing filter and a step up ring from by brother in law! Can't wait do try it out!
I did remember my camera on Christmas day, and with good reason, since my super awesome, amazing husband got me a Mark III!!! Here are some photos from the holiday, and also from my husbands 40th Birthday, which we celebrated on December 27th.
Wishing you all a Happy New Year! Enjoy!
Two weeks ago I got to do a session with my brother and his family. It was super fun and relaxed, and I had a really good time, despite having been out super late the night before for a friends bachelorette party!
We did the shoot in the neighbors backyard, in front of their red barn, and then a few on the front porch of my brothers house. I just love the shots of my three nephews together and the ones of just my brother and my sister in-law. And of course, since it's the holidays, we took some Christmas shots as well! Here are my favorites from the shoot! Enjoy!
I met the Morano family through mutual friends and when they asked me to do a family session for them, I was super excited. We headed to Peace Valley Park in Bucks County PA to do some family/holiday photos.
I love shooting at Peace Valley, because you get a variety of landscapes. There are trees, paths, grass, woods, fields and of course, Lake Galena! Here are some of my favorites from the session. Enjoy!
Tis the Season....for family holiday sessions! First up, the Bailey Family! And this session was especially fun because Janine happens to be my bestie and we've known each other for years! Along with her husband Jason, son Nicky and fur baby Elsa, we headed to Green Lane Park in Montgomery County PA, to get some family portraits and holiday photos.
If you've never been to Green Lane Park, I highly recommend it, as it's absolutely gorgeous! Here are my favorites from the session. Enjoy!
Erica and Sam have been friends of mine since our early twenties and we've shared countless memories together. Over a decade later and they now have a gorgeous family of two boys and one little princess.
This past Sunday I got to photograph this loving and adorable family at Fonthill in Doylestown PA. We took some family shots, some shots of just the kids, and since Halloween is just around the corner, a few of the kids in their costumes. Here are my favorites from the session. Enjoy!
Another Sunday, another family photo session!
Met up with the Lentz family this morning at Lock Ridge Park in Alburtis PA for some fall photos!
This family is just super cute, and really easy to work with! Oh, and they brought me an assortment of fall beers, which just makes them my favorite family so far!
Here are my favorites from this fun session ! Enjoy!
