Oh say can you see, by the dawn's early light......

Independence Day is one of my favorite holidays, mostly because it's in the summer and there is BBQ and friends, but also because we have a tradition of going to the Shawnee Mountain Fireworks display in the Poconos. My husband is a ski patroller there in the winter and everyone from the mountain gets together at base patrol for a BBQ and to watch the fireworks.  

This is the first year I've attempted to photograph the fireworks. Here are some of my favorites from both the BBQ and the fireworks. Enjoy!
