This winter has been brutal, well for everyone here in the northeast at least! So when I heard there was an orchid exhibit at Longwood Gardens, I jumped at the opportunity to spend some time walking amongst the flowers like spring has actually arrived (even though it's still in the 40s here)!
If you've never been to Longwood Gardens, I highly recommend it for any age. It's beautiful at all times of the year, but especially in the spring and summer. Here are some of my favorite shots from the day, both orchids and other flowers I found interesting.
